In Part 2 of his presentation, Dr. John Arthington reviews the trace mineral nutrition of grazing beef calves. Dr. Arthington discusses the challenges of providing calves with adequate copper, zinc and other minerals. The most important challenges for beef calves on pasture are low levels of these trace minerals in forages, the presence of antagonists in the diet such as sulfur, and managing mineral intake.

This video is Part 2 of 7 of the presentation from the 2017 Academy of Veterinary Consultants Summer Meeting in Denver, Colorado.
